Billing & CPM

How TermWorks billing works: a prepaid balance, CPM pricing, charging per validated impression, and daily caps.

TermWorks is CPM-based — you pay per thousand impressions — and you only pay for validated impressions.

Prepaid balance

Campaigns spend from a prepaid account balance. A campaign can't spend more than its budget, and your balance can't go negative — fund it from your account page before launching.

What you pay for

You're charged per validated impression at your bid CPM. Impressions that fail validation (bot/CI traffic, fraud checks) are never billed. There's a daily cap per developer so spend can't concentrate on a single person.

CPM floors by type

Minimum bid CPMs:

  • Sponsor — $0.05
  • Opportunity — $0.15
  • Role — $0.50
  • Job — $1.00

Higher bids win more competitive slots. Targeting open to work is charged at a recruiting CPM premium.

Pacing

Set an optional daily budget to spread delivery evenly instead of spending the whole budget at once.
