Creating a campaign

Walk through every campaign field: opportunity type, message, CPM, budget, schedule, and targeting.

Create a campaign from /advertise/campaigns/new. The form shows a live audience estimate as you adjust targeting.

The essentials

  • Headline — the single line developers see in their terminal. No ANSI codes.
  • Destination URL — where the click goes.
  • Opportunity typesponsor (tool/product), opportunity (startup/freelance/bounty), role (remote/contract), or job (full-time with salary).
  • Bid CPM — your cost per 1,000 impressions. Higher bids win more competitive slots. See Billing & CPM.
  • Budget — total prepaid spend, and an optional daily budget to pace delivery.
  • Schedule — optional start/end dates; blank means "start when approved, run until the budget is spent."

Targeting

Reach the right developers by command focus, language, library/SDK, seniority, OS/shell, and intent — all anonymous. See Targeting.

Review

Your first campaign is reviewed before going live (usually within 24 hours). Once you're a vetted advertiser, campaigns launch instantly.
